Following God's calling on your heart requires completely stepping out of your comfort zone and into the hands of God to take you where He wills.
It requires day-by-day and often moment-by-moment surrender.
Surrendering the desire to control, surrendering the desire to know what is coming next, and living in the here and now because that is where He has placed you.
That doesn't mean you don't prepare for the future, but preparations are more fluid, generalized and focused on the more prominent steps in front of you.
One step at a time, glancing forward at the potential possibilities, but staying focused on the step you are on and what God has for you at that particular place and time in your life.
